Many apply for green cards each year and fail to meet the standard requirements simply because they are not aware of the green card rules. As with any legal documentation given to the government knowing the green card rules are just as important. A wrongly submitted document will lead to delays or denial of your application just as with any other program. The United States government has certain requirements just as any other organization and are strict on who they allow to enter the country. The Green card rules are not hard but must be followed step by step. The biggest green card event each year is the green card lottery and the eligibility requirements are easy but are followed strictly. To be eligible to enter the green card lottery you must meet all the educational or training requirements. Meaning you must have a high school education or equivalency. You must also be a native of a qualifying country which is listed on the site when you are applying. All applicants must have current photos as of the last 6 months that meet the standard required by the government and fill out his application online. Only electronic applications are accepted at this time. IF you send in a paper document you will not be able to enter and you will be disqualified immediately. They have recently changed the rules due to applications not being filled out properly. Now all the needed information is in the online application and is hard to submit without the correct information. Lately most of the photos have been delaying or disqualifying the majority of applications. These photos have a lot of requirements as to exactly how each should look. There are to be only street attire being worn in the photos. The photos when done digitally must be done with 1 megapixel or more and have a crisp clear image. The posses should be front faced and from the top of the hair to the bottom of the chin showing in the photo. When you follow the simple guidelines laid out for you it will be more likely you will get approved. When information is not submitted properly or there are errors on the application you will be disqualified. There are no notifications to those who are disqualified for any reason. You will only be notified upon winning or when you are approved for your green card!
